On Thursday's lesson you will work with a listening exercise about Barack Obama.
Below there is one link to a you tube-video about Obama and there is also a link to a document with questions. Watch the video and answer the questions on your own computer (head phones are available). When finished, send it to me by email (linnea_groenqvist@hotmail.com). If you don't finish in the lesson, the questions are homework for next tuesday.

English, Tuesday, w. 15
Today, you are going to practise the present tense and word order. Since I am home sick today, you will have to read about the rules in the document below, and then I want you to do the exercises. Review the answers together on the white board. When you have done this, take a look at the two images below. There is a writing task for each one. Pick one and start writing. Next Tuesday, when we meet again for English I want you to show me the exercises as well as the text you wrote.

Listening
Since I won't be here this afternoon, you will have to practise on your own. The link below goes to some examples of what the National tests look like. Under "listening", there are two exercises. I want you to do both of them. Do this:
- Open the pdf-files to look at the tasks. You can't edit pdf-files so you will have to write down the answers somewhere else. Prepare for this.
- After that, open the soundfiles and listen to the texts. Answer the questions as you listen.
- You can correct your own answers, using "bedömningsanvisningar". Listen again to the parts that you got wrong and see if you understand it more, now that you know the answers.
- If you have time left - finish your translation from yesterday.
